INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. Remove the front bumper cover Click here.

  2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER

    1. Remove the 4 bolts, 4 clips and the engine under cover.

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *1 Wire harness clamp
      *2 Clamp

      Disconnect the connector and 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. Loosen the hose clamp and separate the air cleaner hose.

    3. Disengage the 2 clamps and 2 claws and remove the air cleaner cap.

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the air cleaner filter element.

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A011AXX

      Remove the 3 bolts and the air cleaner case.

  6. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the hood lock control cable.

  7. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT ABSORBER

    1. Disengage the 7 claws and remove the radiator support absorber.

  8. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A011BK4

      Disconnect the horn connector.

    2. Remove the 5 bolts and the upper radiator support.

  9. SEPARATE RESERVE TANK


    1. A0117J0

      Separate the radiator hose from the hose clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and separate the reserve tank.

  10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR HOSE


    1. A011993

      Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 2 air hose.

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 3 AIR HOSE


    1. A0118R4

      Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 3 air hose.

  12. REMOVE INTERCOOLER


    1. A0117IZ

      Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps and separate the wire harness.

    2. A011BJD

      Loosen the clamp and disconnect the vacuum transmitting hose.

    3. A0118Q1

      Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector.

    4. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

  13. REMOVE INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

      *1 22 mm deep socket wrench

      Using a 22 mm deep socket wrench, remove the intake air temperature sensor.

    2. Remove the gasket from the intake air temperature sensor.
