ECM REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A011ADE

      Remove the 2 nuts and the battery clamp.

  2. REMOVE BATTERY

  3. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 BATTERY CARRIER

    A011AR2

    1. Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and the No. 2 battery carrier.

  5. REMOVE ECM


    1. A0116W9

      Pull up the 2 levers to loosen the lock.

    2. Disconnect the 2 ECM connectors.

    3. A0117XJ

      Remove the 3 bolts and the ECM.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

    A011AVN

    1. Using an "TORX" socket, remove the 2 screws and the No. 1 ECM bracket.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

    A0119BX

    1. Using an "TORX" socket, remove the 2 screws and the No. 2 ECM bracket.

  8. REMOVE COVER

    A0118GY

    1. Remove the cover, which is installed with double-sided tape.
