VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (for Engine Mounting) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

    *1 Body Ground

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 37 to 44 Ω
      1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      2 - Body ground

      If the result is not as specified, replace the vacuum switching valve assembly.

    2. Inspect the vacuum switching valve.

        When applying vacuum to port E, check that the air is drawn in through the filter.

        Apply battery voltage between the vacuum switching valve terminals.

      3. When applying vacuum to port F, check that the air is drawn in through port E.

        If the result is not as specified, replace the vacuum switching valve assembly.
