REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the 3 screws and remove the outer rear view mirror assembly.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW FRAME REAR MOULDING
Using an infrared light, heat the front door window frame rear moulding.
CAUTION:
Do not burn yourself with the heated front door panel or infrared light.
Note
Remove any tape remaining on the front door panel.
Tech Tips
Heat at 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) for 3 to 5 minutes.

Pull out the front door window frame moulding with the door closed, and then remove the front door window frame moulding while peeling off the double-sided adhesive tape.
Using a clip remover, shift the clip sideways as shown in the illustration.
Twist the clip remover and remove the 3 clips by disengaging them one side at a time.
REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS OUTER WEATHERSTRIP ASSEMBLY

Apply protective tape to the door panel in the area around the front door belt moulding.

Using a moulding remover, disengage the 6 claws and remove the front door glass outer weatherstrip.
