FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EMBLEM


    1. Apply protective tape to the vehicle body in the area around the front bumper emblem.

      *1 Wooden blocks
      *2 Protective tape

      Pass a piano wire between the vehicle body and front bumper emblem.

    3. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

    4. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the front bumper emblem to the vehicle body.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    5. Remove the front bumper emblem.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR LOWER GRILLE

    1. Disengage the 18 claws and remove the radiator lower grille.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

    1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the front bumper hole cover.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD

    1. Remove the front bumper pad.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the front bumper pad.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PAD RH

    1. Remove the front bumper pad.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper hole cover.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and remove the front bumper retainer.

  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER ABSORBER

    1. Disengage the 7 claws and remove the radiator support absorber.

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    1. Remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the radiator side air seal.

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 1 side.

  15. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION LH

    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the radiator support extension.

  16. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (for 1ND-TV)

  18. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the claw.

    3. Disengage the guide and remove the windshield washer jar.

    4. Disconnect the washer hose.

    5. Disconnect the connectors.

  19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Disengage the 5 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

    2. A011AXK

      Remove the 8 bolts.

    3. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper reinforcement.

  20. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 14 screws and front bumper energy absorber.
