      (to Turn Signal Flasher Assembly)

Disconnect the turn signal flasher assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
D3-1 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      D3-1 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      D3-4 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
D3-5 (EL) - Body ground Turn signal switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
D3-5 (EL) - Body ground Turn signal switch in LH position Below 1 Ω
D3-6 (ER) - Body ground Turn signal switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
D3-6 (ER) - Body ground Turn signal switch in RH position Below 1 Ω
      D3-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
D3-8 (HAZ) - Body ground Hazard warning switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
D3-8 (HAZ) - Body ground Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 Ω

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the turn signal flasher assembly connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the valve(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
D3-2 (LR) - Body ground Hazard warning switch OFF Below 1 V
D3-2 (LR) - Body ground Hazard warning switch ON 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
D3-2 (LR) - Body ground Turn signal switch OFF Below 1 V
D3-2 (LR) - Body ground Ignition switch ON and turn signal switch in RH position 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
D3-3 (LL)- Body ground Hazard warning switch OFF Below 1 V
D3-3 (LL) - Body ground Hazard warning switch ON 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
D3-3 (LL) - Body ground Turn signal switch OFF Below 1 V
D3-3 (LL) - Body ground Ignition switch ON and turn signal switch in LH position 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
D3-5 (EL) - Body ground Ignition switch ON and turn signal switch OFF 11 to 14 V
D3-5 (EL) - Body ground Ignition switch ON and turn signal switch in LH position Below 1 V
D3-6 (ER) - Body ground Ignition switch ON and turn signal switch OFF 11 to 14 V
D3-6 (ER) - Body ground Ignition switch ON and turn signal switch in RH position Below 1 V
D3-8 (HAZ) - Body ground Hazard warning switch OFF 11 to 14 V
D3-8 (HAZ) - Body ground Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 V

If the result is not as specified, replace the turn signal flasher assembly.
