ENGINE HOOD MOULDING REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0118VA

      Disengage the 3 claws and remove the front washer nozzle.

    2. A0118VP

      Remove the front washer nozzle from the washer hose.

      Note

      Washer nozzles cannot be reused.

  2. SEPARATE WASHER HOSE


    1. A011AQE

      Separate the washer hose.

  3. REMOVE WASHER HOSE


    1. Remove the washer hose.

  4. REMOVE HOOD REAR MOULDING

    1. Remove the nut.

    2. Using an infrared light, heat the hood rear moulding.

      CAUTION:

      Do not burn yourself on the hot hood or with the infrared light.

      Tech Tips

      Heat at 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) for 3 to 5 minutes.

      *1 Double-sided tape

      Pull up the hood moulding, disengage the 8 clips while peeling off the double-sided adhesive tape, and remove the hood rear moulding.
