REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

  3. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER

    1. Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear deck trim cover.

  4. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BELT HOLE COVER LH

  5. REMOVE SIDE NO. 1 TRIM ASSEMBLY LH

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

    1. Remove the 4 clips and the rear bumper side seal.

  7. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts.

      Remove the screw and separate the bumper retainer.

      Disengage the guide and remove the rear combination light.

  8. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS GASKET

    1. Remove the rear combination light lens gasket.

      Note


      • Detach the gasket if it adheres to the body.

      • Do not reuse a removed gasket. Replace it with a new one to prevent water from entering.

  9. REMOVE TAIL AND STOP LIGHT BULB

    1. Turn the tail and stop light socket and bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove them.

    2. Remove the tail and stop light bulb from the light socket.

  10. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

    1. Turn the rear turn signal light socket and bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove them.

    2. Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the light socket.

  11. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT BULB

    1. Turn the rear fog light socket and bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove them.

    2. Remove the rear fog light bulb from the light socket.

  12. REMOVE BACK UP LIGHT BULB

    1. Turn the back up light socket and bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove them.

    2. Remove the back up light bulb from the light socket.
