OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR RETRACTOR


    1. A0119UY

      Connect the 2 connectors of a new wire harness and engage the clamp.

    2. A0117S6

      Install the mirror actuator with the 2 screws to a new frame sub-assembly.

    3. A0118OH

      Pass a new wire harness through the frame sub-assembly.

      Connect the connector and install the cap.

      Slide the guide in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and install the frame sub-assembly.

      Install the actuator with frame sub-assembly with the 3 screws.

    7. A011BRX

      Engage the clamp.

    8. Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the base with 3 new screws.

      Torque:
      3.6 N*m  { 37 kgf*cm, 32 in.*lbf }

      Note

      When installing the base, check that the wire harness is not caught between the base and housing. Failure to do so may cause a short circuit.

    9. A0117TH

      Engage the 5 claws and install a new lower cover.

    10. A0118B0

      Pass the wire harness through a new gasket.

    11. Engage the 5 pins and install a new gasket.

      *a 40 mm (1.57in.)
      *b 20 mm (0.797in.)

      Wrap the wire harness with vinyl tape.

      Connect the 2 connectors to the adapter.

      Tech Tips

      Twist the wire harness as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    1. Install the side turn signal light with the 3 screws.

    2. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR COVER

      Engage the 7 claws and install the outer mirror cover.

  4. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR GLASS


    1. A01175O

      Engage the 2 guides on the upper part of the outer mirror glass to the outer rear view mirror.

    2. Engage the 2 claws on the lower part of the outer mirror glass to the outer rear view mirror.

    3. Remove the protective tape.
