REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY
Open the rear wiper arm head cap.
Remove the nut and remove the rear wiper arm and blade.
REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD
Disengage the 9 clips and remove the back door trim board.
REMOVE HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the 2 clips and the high mounted stop light.
REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS

Disconnect the 2 back door defogger connectors.
Apply protective tape to the outer edge of the back door glass, as shown in the illustration.
From the interior, insert piano wires between the vehicle body and back door glass, as shown in the illustration.
Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to all wire ends.
Note
When separating the back door glass from the vehicle, do not damage the vehicle's paint or exterior/interior ornaments.
Cut through the adhesive by pulling the piano wire around the back door glass.

Place matchmarks on the back door glass and vehicle body on the locations indicated in the illustration.
Tech Tips
Matchmarks do not need to be placed if the back door glass is not going to be reused.
Disengage the 2 clips.
Using suction cups, remove the back door glass.
Note
Leave as much adhesive on the vehicle body as possible when removing the back door glass.
REMOVE BACK WINDOW GLASS CLIP LH
Using a scraper, remove the back window glass clip.
Note
Be careful not to damage the back window glass.
Be sure to replace the back window glass clip with new one.
