ROOF HEADLINING INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Note


    • Apply the tape securely in place.

    • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.


    1. Align the marking tapes on the antenna cord with the markings on the roof headlining.

    2. Install the antenna cord onto the roof headlining with 2 new pieces of tape.

    3. Align the antenna cord with the markings on the roof headlining with 3 new pieces of tape.

      Install the rest of antenna cord onto the roof headlining with a new piece of tape.

  2. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING PAD (w/o Rear Seat Assembly)

      Align 2 new roof headlining pads with the marks on the roof headlining and install them onto the roof headlining.

  3. INSTALL ROOF WIRE


    1. Align the roof wire positioning tapes with the markings on the roof headlining, as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the roof wire onto the roof headlining with 8 new pieces of tape.

      Note


      • Apply the tape securely in place.

      • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD


    1. Install the 3 double-sided tapes.

    2. Align the 3 No. 1 roof silencer pads with the markings on the roof headlining and install them onto the roof headlining.

  5. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING CLIP

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both sides.


    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the roof headlining clip.

  6. INSTALL GARNISH MALE RETAINER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the 2 garnish male retainers.

  7. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

      Pull the roof headlining back into the vehicle through the front door.

    2. A011BVD

      Install the 2 clips.

    3. Install the bracket with the bolt.

    4. Connect the 2 connectors.

  8. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER RH


    1. A0119WAE01

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Push in the visor holder and turn it approximately 45° as shown in the illustration.

  9. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  10. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Engage the 2 clips and install the visor.

    2. Install the visor shaft into the visor holder.

      Engage the 4 claws and install a new visor cover.

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  12. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to install all assist grips.


    1. Engage the 2 clips and install the assist grip.

      Engage the 2 claws and install the assist grip cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both sides.

  13. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH (w/ Curtain Shield Airbag)

      Remove the protective cover.

    2. Engage the 2 clamps.

    3. Connect the connector.

      Engage the 2 guides.

    5. Using needle nose pliers with their tips wrapped in protective tape, turn the front pillar garnish clip 90° to engage it to the front pillar garnish.

      Engage the clip and the front pillar garnish clip to install the front pillar garnish.

  14. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH (w/ Curtain Shield Airbag)

  15. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH (w/o Curtain Shield Airbag)


    1. Engage the 2 clamps.

    2. Connect the connector.

    3. Engage the 2 clips and the 2 guides and install the front pillar garnish.

  16. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH (w/o Curtain Shield Airbag)

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the claw and install the personal light.

    1. Engage the 3 clips and install the roof side inner garnish.

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  23. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the rear seat outer belt with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Engage the 2 claws and close the rear seat belt anchor cover.

  24. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  25. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH RH


    1. Install 3 new clips to the center pillar upper garnish.

    2. Pass the front seat outer belt through the slit in the center pillar upper garnish.

    3. Engage the 4 clips and install the center pillar upper garnish.

    4. Install the 2 clips.

  26. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH LH

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  27. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the front seat outer belt with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  28. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  29. INSTALL SIDE NO. 1 TRIM ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Engage the 6 clips and install the side No. 1 trim.

    1. Engage the 5 claws and install the deck trim side belt hole cover.

    1. Engage the 9 claws and install the front door scuff plate.

      Torque:
