RELAY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT PTC HEATER RELAY


    1. A011BH9E01

      Check the resistance. (for Type A:)


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 When battery voltage not applied 10 kΩ or higher
        3 - 5 When battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the PTC heater relay.

    2. A011AO2E01

      Check the resistance. (for Type B:)


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 - 5 When battery voltage not applied 10 kΩ or higher
        3 - 5 When battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the PTC heater relay.

  2. INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY (except 1ND-TV)

      Component without harness connected:

      (Integration Relay)

      Check the resistance of the magnetic clutch relay.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        D6 - F9 When battery voltage not applied 10 kΩ or higher
        D6 - F9 When battery voltage to terminals D6 and D1 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the integration relay.

  3. INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY (for 1ND-TV)

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        D6 - F3 When battery voltage to terminals D6 and D4 Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the integration relay.
