CIGARETTE LIGHTER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY


    1. Rear console box assembly Click here.

  2. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX COVER

    1. Disengage the 2 claws and 4 clips and remove the front console box cover.

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

    1. Disengage the 6 clips.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the instrument cluster finish panel.

  4. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

    1. Disengage the 8 clips.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the lower center instrument cluster finish panel.

  5. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

    1. Disengage the 8 clips.

    2. Disconnect the all connectors.

    3. A0119IL

      Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the No. 2 heater control cable.

    4. A0118U2

      Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the air mix damper control cable.

  6. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

    1. Disengage the 8 clips.

    2. Disconnect the all connectors.

    3. A0119IL

      Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the No. 2 heater control cable.

    4. A0118U2

      Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the air mix damper control cable.

  7. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER KNOB

    1. Remove the cigarette lighter knob.

  8. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER

    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw, then turn the cigarette lighter socket counterclockwise and pull the cigarette lighter socket half way out.

      Align the protrusion of the cigarette lighter socket with the cutout of the cigarette lighter indicator lens and then pull out the cigarette lighter socket.

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the cigarette lighter cover.

  9. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER INDICATOR LENS

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the cigarette lighter indicator lens.
