REAR BUMPER (for Sedan) INSTALLATION

  1. INSTALL REAR UPPER BUMPER RETAINER LH

    A003BBW

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear upper bumper retainer.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  2. INSTALL REAR UPPER BUMPER RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear No. 2 bumper side retainer.

    2. Install the screw.

  4. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear bumper side retainer.

    2. Install the 2 screws and bracket.

  6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    A003EDZ

    1. Install the rear bumper arm with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

    1. Install the rear No. 1 bumper reinforcement with the 8 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

      Attach the 16 claws to install the rear bumper cover.

    2. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

      Connect the No. 2 frame wire connector and attach the 16 claws to install the rear bumper cover.

    3. Install the 2 screws, 2 bolts and 8 clips.

  11. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PLATE LH

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear bumper plate.

  12. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PLATE RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
