REAR BUMPER (for Sedan) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH

    1. Remove the rear bumper pad.

  2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 FRAME WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

    2. Detach the 4 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.

      Detach the 2 clips.

    2. A003AP1

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. A003DF7

      Widen the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer, detach the 2 claws of the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor and remove it.

  5. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all ultrasonic sensor clips.

      Detach the 2 claws of the ultrasonic sensor clip from the ultrasonic sensor retainer and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip.

  6. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all ultrasonic sensor retainers.

      For the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer and No. 3 ultrasonic sensor retainer:

      Detach the claw from the rear bumper cover and remove the ultrasonic sensor retainer.

    2. A003EFG

      For the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainers:

      Detach the 2 claws from the rear bumper cover and remove the ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  7. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER COVER LH

    A003BDV

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the rear upper bumper cover.

  8. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Detach the claw and guide, and remove the reflex reflector.

  10. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH
