REAR BUMPER (for Sedan) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER

      Remove the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both screws.

      Remove the 8 clips.

      Remove the 2 screws.

      *1 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the rear bumper cover.

    5. A00OK35

      Detach the 16 claws and remove the rear bumper cover.

    6. w/ Rear Fog Light:

      Disconnect the No. 2 frame wire connector.

  2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 1 REINFORCEMENT

      Remove the 8 bolts and rear bumper No. 1 reinforcement.

  3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A00OHUH

      Remove the 3 bolts and rear bumper arm.

  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

      Remove the grommet and nut.

    2. Remove the 3 clips and rear bumper side seal.

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

      Remove the grommet and nut.

    2. Remove the 2 clips and rear bumper side seal.

  7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      Remove the rear bumper bracket and 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper side retainer.

  8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE RETAINER LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper No. 2 side retainer.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE RETAINER RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper upper retainer.

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH
