FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Click here.

  • When installing the front bumper pad, heat the front bumper cover surface using a heat light.

    Item Temperature
    Front Bumper Cover 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    Note

    Do not heat the front bumper cover excessively.


  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Attach the 2 claws to install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly.

    2. A003B8G

      Install the 2 bolts.

      *1 Clamp

      Connect the headlight washer hose and attach the clamp.

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Attach the 2 claws to install the headlight cleaner washer nozzle.

  4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the 8 claws to install the radiator grille.

    2. Install the 4 screws.

  6. INSTALL HOOD TO RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

    1. Attach the 15 clips to install the radiator support seal.

  7. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

    1. Install the fog light cover with the 3 bolts.

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)

      Install the fog light with the screw.

  11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)

    1. Install the front bumper hole cover with the 3 bolts.

  13. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER LH

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the front spoiler cover.

  15. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

    1. w/o Headlight Cleaner System:

      Attach the 12 claws to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

    2. A003DMC

      w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Attach the 12 claws and 4 clamps to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille

  16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER PAD LH


    1. Clean the front bumper cover surface.


      1. Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover surface.

      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Install a new front bumper pad.


      1. Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new front bumper pad.

        Tech Tips

        After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      2. Install the front bumper pad.
