REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Sedan) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BULB HOLDER LH


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 2 claws and clamp.

    3. Attach the guide to install the rear combination light bulb holder LH.

  2. INSTALL REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB


    1. A00OK8R

      Install the rear turn signal light bulb to the rear combination light bulb holder LH.

    2. Turn the rear combination light bulb holder LH in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install the socket.

  3. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BODY GASKET LH


    1. Install a new rear combination light body gasket LH.

  4. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY LH


    1. Attach the clip to install the rear combination light lens and body LH.

    2. Install the 3 nuts.

    3. Connect the connector.

  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A00DUUV

      Pass the fuel lid opener cable through the trim cover.

    2. A00DPQ4

      Install the trim cover with the 4 clips.

  6. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE


    1. A00DQPN

      Attach the 4 clips to install the rear floor finish plate.

    2. A00DPVX

      Install the 2 clips.

  7. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY


    1. A00DQ4Z

      Install the 4 rope hooks with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.8 N*m  { 80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL REAR NO. 6 FLOOR BOARD SPACER

  9. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD SPACER

    A00DS4UE01

  10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR CARPET

  11. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A003BE1E01

      Install the claw as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the side seatback with the bolt.

      Torque:
      7.8 N*m  { 80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf }
    3. A003CVN

      Install the rear seat 3 point type belt anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      41 N*m  { 418 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat 3 point type belt to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

    4. Install the seat belt to the belt guide.

    5. Attach the claw to close the cap of the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

    6. Check if the ELR locks.

      Note

      The check should be performed with the outer belt assembly installed.


      1. With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

  12. INSTALL REAR BENCH TYPE SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the 2 rear hooks of the seat cushion to the seatback.

    2. Attach the 2 front hooks to install the seat cushion.

    3. Confirm that the seat cushion is firmly installed.

      Note

      When installing the seat cushion, make sure the seat belt buckle is not under the seat cushion.
