REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Sedan) REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE REAR BENCH TYPE SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion from the vehicle body.

      Note

      Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame deforms easily.


      1. Choose a hook to detach first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration. Then lift the seat cushion to detach the hook.

      2. Repeat for the other hook.

    2. Detach the 2 rear hooks of the seat cushion from the seatback.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  2. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear seat 3 point type belt anchor.

    2. A003AHX

      Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to open the cap of the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

    3. Remove the seat belt from the belt guide.

      Remove the bolt, and then remove the side seatback LH as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR CARPET

  4. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD SPACER

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 6 FLOOR BOARD SPACER

  6. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY


    1. A00DQ4Z

      Remove the 4 bolts and 4 rope hooks.

  7. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE


    1. A00DPVX

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. A00DQPN

      Detach the 4 clips and remove the finish plate.

  8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A00DPQ4

      Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips.

    2. A00DUUV

      Pass the fuel lid opener cable through the trim cover.

    3. Remove the trim cover.

  9. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY LH

      *1 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the rear combination light lens and body LH.

    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the 3 nuts.

    4. Detach the clip and remove the rear combination light lens and body LH.

  10. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BODY GASKET LH


    1. Remove the rear combination light body gasket LH.

      Note

      Be sure to remove the gasket completely from the body.

  11. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB


    1. A00OUYE

      Turn the rear combination light bulb holder LH in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and remove the socket.

    2. Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the rear combination light bulb holder LH.

  12. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT BULB HOLDER LH


    1. A00OVAI

      Detach the clamp and 2 claws.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the rear combination light bulb holder LH.

    3. Disconnect the connector.
