FUEL LID OPENER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Wagon) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE REAR BENCH TYPE SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion from the vehicle body.

      Note

      Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame deforms easily.


      1. Choose a hook to detach first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration. Then lift the seat cushion to detach the hook.

      2. Repeat for the other hook.

    2. Detach the 2 rear hooks of the seat cushion from the seatback.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  2. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear seat 3 point type belt anchor.

    2. A003AHX

      Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to open the cap of the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

    3. Remove the seat belt from the belt guide.

      Remove the bolt, and then remove the side seatback LH as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)

    1. Pull the lever and remove the tonneau cover.

  5. REMOVE ROOM PARTITION NET ASSEMBLY (w/ Partition Net)

    1. Push the 2 buttons and remove the room partition net.

  6. REMOVE LOWER DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/ Partition Board)


    1. Remove the lower deck trim side board.

  7. REMOVE LOWER DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH (w/ Partition Board)


    1. Remove the lower deck trim side board.

  8. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the clip and 2 guides, and remove the deck board.

  9. REMOVE DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Pull the lever and remove the deck board.

  10. REMOVE NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Detach the clip and remove the No. 3 deck board.

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 3 deck board.

  12. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX


    1. Detach the 7 guides and remove the rear deck floor box.

  13. REMOVE FLOOR SIDE RAIL LH (w/ Deck Rail)

    1. Remove the 3 bolts and floor side rail.

  14. REMOVE FLOOR SIDE RAIL RH (w/ Deck Rail)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK SIDE TRIM COVER (w/o Deck Rail)

    1. Detach the 2 clips and 3 guides, and remove the deck side trim cover.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 DECK SIDE TRIM COVER (w/o Deck Rail)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 deck side trim cover.

  17. REMOVE NO. 6 DECK SIDE TRIM COVER (w/o Deck Rail)

    1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the No. 6 deck side trim cover.

  18. REMOVE NO. 5 DECK SIDE TRIM COVER (w/o Deck Rail)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 6 deck side trim cover.

  19. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (w/o Deck Rail)

    Use the same procedure for all the rope hooks.


    1. Remove the bolt and rope hook.

  20. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH

    1. Remove the bolt.

    2. Detach the 5 guides and remove the deck floor box.

  21. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  22. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

    1. Detach the 4 clips and remove the rear floor finish plate.

  23. REMOVE FRONT DECK FLOOR BOX

    1. Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Detach the 4 guides and remove the front deck floor box.

  24. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    1. Detach the 6 claws and clip, and remove the rear door scuff plate.

  25. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

    1. Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.

  26. REMOVE BACK DOOR WEATHERSTRIP

    1. Remove the back door weatherstrip.

  27. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH CAP LH

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Put protective tape around the inner roof side garnish cap.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the inner roof side garnish cap.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  28. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Remove the bolt and clip.

    2. Detach the 7 clips and 3 claws.

    3. Pass the fuel lid opener cable through the panel, disconnect the connector, and then remove the deck trim side panel.

  29. REMOVE FUEL LID WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and fuel lid with motor lock assembly.

  30. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer.
