LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER OUTER SWITCH REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE BACK DOOR ASSIST GRIP

      Pull the assist grip in the direction shown by the arrow labeled (1) to disconnect the grip.

    2. Pull out the assist grip to remove it.

  2. REMOVE DOOR ASSIST GRIP

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. A003EBM

      Remove the 2 screws and assist grip.

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER


    1. A003DPH

      Using a clip remover, remove the 10 clips and cover.

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY OUTSIDE

    1. Put protective tape around the luggage compartment door garnish outside.

    2. Remove the 6 nuts.

      Detach the clip and remove the luggage compartment door garnish outside.

      Tech Tips

      Detach the clip from the backside of the luggage compartment door garnish outside.

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector and remove the back door opener switch.
