REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Wagon) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE REAR BENCH TYPE SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion from the vehicle body.

      Note

      Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame deforms easily.


      1. Choose a hook to detach first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration. Then lift the seat cushion to detach the hook.

      2. Repeat for the other hook.

    2. Detach the 2 rear hooks of the seat cushion from the seatback.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  2. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear seat 3 point type belt anchor.

    2. A003AHX

      Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to open the cap of the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

    3. Remove the seat belt from the belt guide.

      Remove the bolt, and then remove the side seatback LH as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 2 clips and fold back the carpet as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and seatback.

  5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear center seat outer belt anchor.

    2. A003CIR

      Remove the 2 clips and fold back the carpet as shown in the illustration.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and seatback.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 QUARTER WHEEL HOUSE GUSSET SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 6 bolts and gusset.

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

    A003CMQ

    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 lock hooks.

  8. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 bolts and center seatback hinge.

  9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the bolt and seatback hinge.

  10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
