DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU receives vehicle stability signals from the yaw rate sensor and sends the signals to the driving support ECU and ECM. If the skid control ECU detects that the yaw rate sensor is malfunctioning, the skid control ECU and the yaw rate sensor send a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU and stores DTC C1A46. Also, when DTC C1A46 is stored, the skid control ECU stores DTC C1234/34 at the same time.

C1A46 While the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more, a malfunction signal from the skid control ECU and yaw rate sensor is detected for 1 second.
