  1. ILLUMINATION CONTROL SYSTEM (Illuminated Entry System):


    1. The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:

      Control Outline Lighting
      Actuation Area-linked*2 When the key is brought within any vehicle exterior detection area, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns on.
      • Engine switch illumination*2

      • Map light assembly

      • No. 1 room light assembly

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly LH/RH*3

      Door Control Transmitter-linked When any door is unlocked using the transmitter, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns on.
      • Ignition key cylinder light*1

      • Engine switch illumination*2

      • Map light assembly

      • No. 1 room light assembly

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly LH/RH*3

      Door Open-linked When any door is opened, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns on.
      • Ignition key cylinder light*1

      • Engine switch illumination*2

      • Map light assembly

      • No. 1 room light assembly

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly LH/RH*3

      Door Close-linked When all the doors are closed, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.
      Door Lock-linked When all doors are locked, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.
      • Ignition key cylinder light*1

      • Engine switch illumination*2

      • Map light assembly

      • No. 1 room light assembly

      • No. 1 interior illumination light assembly LH/RH*3

      Ignition Switch-linked*1

      Engine Switch-linked*2

      When the ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns on.

      Battery Saving

      When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is not in the ignition key cylinder, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.*1

      When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is outside the vehicle exterior detection area, the illumination of the items listed to the right turns off.*2
