DESCRIPTION

The navigation receiver assembly receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch assembly*1 or back-up light switch assembly*2.

  1. CHECK NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

    1. Enter the "Failure Check/Setting" mode and select "Vehicle Signal" Click here.

    2. Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever operation.

      OK

      Tech Tips

      This display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.

    1. Disconnect the D25 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D25-5 (REV) - Body ground Ignition switch ON, shift lever in R 11 to 14 V
      D25-5 (REV) - Body ground Ignition switch ON, shift lever not in R Below 1 V

    1. Disconnect the D25 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the B5 back-up light switch connector.

    3. Measure the resistance the according to the value(s) in the table below.
