Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the H20 stereo component amplifier connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H20-10 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      H20-5 (+B) - H20-10 (GND) Always 11 to 14 V
      H20-12 (ACC) - H20-10 (GND) Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      H20-12 (ACC) - H20-10 (GND) Ignition switch off Below 1 V

      Disconnect the H20 stereo component amplifier connector.

    2. A003D8OE47

      Disconnect the D22 navigation receiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H20-9 (AMP+) - D22-9 (AMP) Always Below 1 Ω
