DESCRIPTION

The ultrasonic sensor sends and receives ultrasonic waves. Based on the received wave, the ECU calculates the approximate distance value between the vehicle and the obstacle.

  1. REPLACE REAR CENTER NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH


    1. Replace the ultrasonic sensor with a normally functioning sensor Click here.

    1. Disconnect the J3 sensor connector.

    2. Disconnect the D65 ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J3-3 (T) - D65-12 (BOR) Always Below 1 Ω
      J3-2 (S) - D65-5 (S3) Always Below 1 Ω
      J3-1 (E) - D65-11 (E2) Always Below 1 Ω
      J3-3 (T) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J3-2 (S) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J3-1 (E) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
