Some versions of portable players may not function, or the function using the navigation receiver assembly may be limited even if the portable player itself can play files).

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK THAT PORTABLE PLAYER IS "BLUETOOTH" AUDIO COMPATIBLE


    1. Check if the portable player is "Bluetooth" audio compatible.

  2. CHECK CONNECTION PROCEDURE OF CONNECTED DEVICE


    1. Referring to the Owner's Manual, correctly register the portable player.

    2. Check that the portable player can be registered as a connected device.

      Tech Tips

      The portable player cannot be registered under any of the following conditions:


      • The A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) is not used when registering a cellular phone.

      • A different portable player registration remains in the navigation receiver.

      • A different navigation receiver registration remains in the portable player.

      • The portable player is off.

  3. CHECK USING ANOTHER "BLUETOOTH" AUDIO COMPATIBLE VEHICLE OF SAME MODEL


    1. Check if the portable player can be registered normally on another "Bluetooth" audio compatible vehicle of the same model.

  4. REMOVE ADDITIONAL DEVICES WHICH USE RADIO WAVES


    1. Remove additional devices which use radio waves.

    2. Check that the portable player can be registered as a connected device.
