RADIO RECEIVER REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

      *2 Clamp
      *3 Guide

      Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 2 clips and 5 claws.

    3. Detach the clamp.

    4. Detach the guide near the front of the vehicle and remove the finish panel.

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

      Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 2 clips and 5 claws.

    3. Detach the clamp.

    4. Detach the guide near the front of the vehicle and remove the finish panel.

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL (w/ Console Box Lid)


    1. Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 6 clips and remove the box panel.

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL (w/o Console Box Lid)

      Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 6 clips and remove the box panel.

  7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH


    1. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 4 clips and 5 claws and remove the panel end.

  8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH (for LHD)

      Using a moulding remover B, detach the 4 clips and 5 claws and remove the panel end.

  9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH (for RHD)


    1. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 4 clips and 5 claws and remove the panel end.

    2. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 4 clips and 5 claws.

      2. Remove the panel end and then disconnect the connector.

  10. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY WITH FINISH PANEL

      Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a moulding remover B, detach the 2 clips and hook.

      Detach the 3 claws and 3 hooks.

    4. Detach the 2 clips.

      Remove the panel register. Then disconnect the connector and detach the clamp.

  11. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type)


    1. A00OM6S

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. A00ONUC

      Pull the radio receiver to detach the 4 clips and 2 claws on the backside of the radio receiver with bracket.

    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the radio receiver with bracket.

  12. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type)

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. A00OJJH

      Pull the radio receiver to detach the 4 clips and 2 claws on the backside of the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket.

    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket.

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type)

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type)

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio receiver bracket.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type)

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type)

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio receiver bracket.
