MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU

    A003CZB

    1. Install the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU to the steering column assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the wire harness clamp and 2 connectors.

  2. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER

    Note

    If the steering column cover is installed in an incorrect order, it will not be possible to assemble the steering column cover.

      Attach the claw and 2 pins to install the upper steering column cover.

  3. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING COLUMN COVER

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the lower No. 2 steering column cover.

  4. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY

      Align the matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and steering main shaft.

    2. Install the steering wheel assembly set nut.

      Torque:
      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connectors to the spiral cable sub-assembly.
