CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A00OS5T

      Install the clutch accumulator assembly to the transaxle assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }
    2. A00OQP6

      Connect the flexible hose with the clip.

    3. Install the accumulator to flexible hose tube with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
    4. Using a union nut wrench, connect the accumulator to flexible hose tube to the clutch accumulator assembly and flexible hose.

      Torque:
      15 N*m  { 155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

      Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench Click here.

    5. Using a union nut wrench, connect the clutch release cylinder to accumulator tube to the clutch accumulator assembly.

      Torque:
      15 N*m  { 155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER


    1. Install the battery carrier with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 189 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }
    2. Attach the 2 clamps to connect the wire harness.

  3. INSTALL BATTERY TRAY

  4. INSTALL BATTERY

  5. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the hook of the battery clamp to the battery carrier.

    2. Partially tighten the nut and temporarily install the bolt.

    3. Adjust the battery clamp position.

    4. Tighten the nut and bolt.

      Torque:
      for bolt
      17 N*m  { 168 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }
      for nut
      3.5 N*m  { 36 kgf*cm, 31 in.*lbf }
  6. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER


    1. Install the radiator support opening cover with the 7 clips.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER


    1. Install the engine under cover with the 11 clips.

  8. INSTALL FRONT LOWER BUMPER ABSORBER


    1. Insert the 2 hooks of the front lower bumper absorber into the installation holes on the body to install the front lower bumper absorber.

    2. Install the 8 bolts and 3 screws.

    3. Install the 4 screws and 2 bolts.

  9. CONNECT CABLE TO POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
