FRONT CONSOLE BOX (w/ Console Box Lid) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

  • A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Click here.


  1. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY


    1. for Manual Transaxle:

      Install the console box with the 2 screws.

    2. for Automatic Transaxle

      Install the console box with the 4 screws.

    3. w/ Power Outlet Socket:


      1. Connect the connectors.

    4. Install the 4 bolts.

  2. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET


    1. Install the 2 carpets.

  3. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX CUP HOLDER


    1. Install the cup holder.

  4. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL

      *1 w/ Seat Heater System

      Connect the connectors.

    2. A006UTJ

      Attach the 2 clips to install the finish panel.

  5. INSTALL REAR UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transaxle)


    1. A006VKI

      Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 2 claws and 6 clips to install the console panel.

  6. INSTALL REAR UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)


    1. A006UDU

      Attach the 2 claws and 6 clips to install the console panel.

    2. A006VCT

      Attach the cover to the shaft.

  7. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transaxle)


    1. A006VS5

      Install the shift lever knob and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

  8. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)


    1. A006TK8

      Install the shift lever knob and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

  9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH


    1. Attach the 4 clips and 5 claws to install the panel end.

  10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH (for LHD)


    1. A00OSPV

      Attach the 4 clips and 5 claws to install the panel end.

  11. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH (for RHD)


    1. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Attach the 4 clips and 5 claws to install the panel end.

    2. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Connect the connector.

      2. Attach the 4 clips and 5 claws to install the panel end.

  12. INSTALL NO. 3 BOX PANEL


    1. When replacing the No. 3 box panel with a new one:


      1. A006V0HE01

        *1 Cut

        Cut off the rib (the piece used to maintain the shape of the panel) shown in the illustration.

    2. Attach the 6 clips to install the box panel.

  13. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

      *2 Clamp

      Attach the guide near the front of the vehicle.

    2. Attach the clamp.

    3. Attach the 2 clips and 5 claws to install the finish panel.

  14. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL
