PRECAUTION FOR COMBUSTION TYPE POWER HEATER SYSTEM
Do not touch the heater assembly or its exhaust pipes because they are hot.
Keep flammables such as fuel away from the heater assembly and its exhaust pipes. Items that come into contact with the heater assembly and its exhaust pipes may cause a fire.
Do not use improper fuels because these may shorten the life of the heater assembly, or may cause either corrosion or noise when the heater assembly ignites.
Do not turn the heater system on and off repeatedly at intervals of 5 minutes or less, because this may shorten the life of the heater components. If the engine is turned on and off repeatedly in short intervals (such as when the vehicle is being used as a delivery vehicle), turn the heater system off.
Be careful not to splash water or spill liquid directly on the heater assembly or heater pump assembly. This may cause the heater to malfunction.
Keep the air duct and exhaust pipes of the heater assembly free from water, snow, ice, mud, etc. These can clog the pipes and cause the heater to malfunction.
