OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR REASSEMBLY

INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Heater System)
Note

When replacing either the front seat cushion heater assembly or separate type front seat cushion pad due to a malfunction, be sure to replace both of them with new parts.
1. Remove the peeling paper from a new front seat cushion heater assembly LH.
2. Install the front seat cushion heater assembly LH to a new separate type front seat cushion pad.
INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER
1. Attach the hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad.
  Note
  
  Be careful not to damage the cover.
  
  When attaching the hooks, avoid wrinkling the cover.
INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD
1. Attach the hooks to install the seat cushion cover with pad.

  *A w/ Seat Heater System - -
2. w/ Seat Heater System:
  
  Connect the connector.
3. w/ Lumbar Support:
  
  Attach the wire harness clamp.
4. for Front Passenger Side:
  
  Attach the 2 hooks to connect the connector holder.
5. w/ Seat Heater System:
  1. Connect the connector.
  2. Install a new cable tie.
6. for Driver Side:
  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the vertical adjuster handle bracket with connector link.

    Connect the connector link and install the clip.
7. Using a 15 mm socket wrench, install the reclining handle with the nut.
  
  Torque:
  
  25 N*m { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }
8. Install the spring.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH

  *2 Wire Harness Clamp
  
  Attach the wire harness clamp and hook to install the front seat inner cushion shield LH.
2. Install the 2 screws.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
Tech Tips
- Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

  *1 Protruding Part
  
  Install the front seat inner belt with the nut.
  
  Torque:
  
  41 N*m { 418 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }
  
  Note
  
  Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.
2. for Driver Side:
  
  Connect the connector and attach the clamps.
3. for Passenger Side:
  
  Connect the connectors and attach the clamps.
INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (for Power Seat)
1. Install the front power seat switch with the 3 screws.
2. Connect the connector.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD WITH FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD (for Power Seat)
1. for Driver Side:
  
  Connect the connector.
2. Attach the hook to install the front seat cushion shield LH with front seat inner No. 1 cushion shield.
3. Install the 2 screws.
4. Attach the 2 claws and install the 2 screws.
5. Attach the 2 rubber bands.
INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat)
1. Attach the 4 claws to install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.
INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat)
1. Attach the 2 claws to install the reclining power seat switch knob.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Manual Seat)
1. w/ Lumbar Support:
  
  Connect the connector.
2. Attach the claw and hook to install the front seat cushion shield LH.
3. Install the 2 screws.
4. Attach the 2 rubber bands.
INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH (for Manual Seat)
1. Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle LH.
