OIL PRESSURE SWITCHING VALVE REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER

      Remove the 8 clips and fold back the engine under cover.

      Tech Tips

      It is not necessary to fully remove the engine under cover. Partially remove it so that the oil pressure switching valve can be removed in a later step.

  2. DRAIN ENGINE OIL


    1. Remove the oil filler cap.

    2. Remove the oil pan drain plug and gasket, and then drain the engine oil into a container.

    3. Install a new gasket and the oil pan drain plug.

      Torque:
      38 N*m  { 387 kgf*cm, 28 ft.*lbf }

  3. REMOVE OIL PRESSURE SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. A00OV74

      Detach the wire harness clamp and disconnect the oil pressure switching valve connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and oil pressure switching valve.
