CYLINDER HEAD REPAIR


  1. REPAIR INTAKE VALVE SEAT

    Note

    Keep the lip free of foreign matter.


    1. A003AJ4E06

      If the seating is too high on the valve face, use 30° and 45° cutters to correct the seat.

    2. A003CCVE07

      If the seating is too low on the valve face, use 60° and 45° cutters to correct the seat.

    3. Check that the seat contact is in the middle of the valve face and has the following width.

      Standard width
      1.0 to 1.4 mm (0.0394 to 0.0551 in.)

  2. REPAIR EXHAUST VALVE SEAT

    Note

    Keep the lip free from foreign matter.


    1. A003BCGE05

      If the seating is too high on the valve face, use 30° and 45° cutters to correct the seat.

    2. A003CL5E04

      If the seating is too low on the valve face, use 60° and 45° cutters to correct the seat.

    3. Check that the seat contact is in the middle of the valve face and has the following width.

      Standard width
      1.0 to 1.4 mm (0.0394 to 0.0551 in.)
