DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU receives vehicle speed signals from the skid control ECU via the CAN communication line to control the lane-keeping assist system. When the driving support ECU receives information that there is a malfunction in the vehicle speed sensor, DTC C1A45 is stored.

C1A45 When the vehicle speed is 50 km/h (31 mph) or more with the lane-keeping assist main switch on, a signal indicating a malfunction in the vehicle speed sensor is received from the skid control ECU.

      OK
      Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output.

    GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.


      1. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 50 km/h (31 mph) or more.

      2. Turn the lane-keeping assist main switch on.
