C1A05 Stop Light Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the brake pedal is depressed, the stop light switch sends a signal to the driving support ECU via the ECM. After receiving the signal, the driving support ECU cancels the lane-keeping assist system.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1A05 The voltages of terminals ST1- and STP of the ECM are both below 1 V for 0.5 seconds or more.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC (DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTC P0571 is not output.

    NG

    GO TO DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Select "Bus Check" from the "System Select" screen on the intelligent tester.

    2. Select "Communication Malfunction DTC" from the "Bus Check" screen, and then select "Enter".
