DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU sends signals such as cruise control cancel demand signals and brake operation demand response signals to the ECM when the dynamic radar cruise control system is in operation.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
P1630 While the vehicle speed is 50 km/h (31 mph) or more with the cruise control switch on, the skid control ECU is logically inconsistent for 1 second.

PROCEDURE


  1. REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU)


    1. Replace the skid control ECU Click here.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Perform the following to make sure the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.


      1. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 50 km/h (31 mph) or more.

      2. Turn the cruise control switch on.

    3. Check for DTCs Click here.
