SPEED LIMITER SYSTEM Speed Limiter System does not Operate

DESCRIPTION

When the warning canceling switch is turned on, the ECM will illuminates the speed limiter indicator light and activates the speed limiter system. Each function of the speed limiter system can be activated by operating the cruise control switch. While the cruise control system is operating, the speed limiter system will not activate.

    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    2. Turn the cruise control switch on.

    3. Check the operation of each function by operating the cruise control switch Click here.

  3. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (WARNING CANCELING SWITCH)


    1. Using the Data List to check if the warning canceling switch is functioning properly.

      Remove the warning canceling switch Click here.

    2. for RHD:

      Remove the warning canceling switch Click here.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
