  1. INSPECT NO. 1 COOLING FAN MOTOR

    1. A005U57E01

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Connect the 400 A probe of an ammeter to positive wire harness side of the cooling fan motor.

    3. Check that the motor turns smoothly when the battery is connected to the fan motor connector.

    4. Measure the current while the motor is turning.

      Standard Current

      If the result is not as specified, replace the cooling fan motor.

  2. INSPECT NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR

    1. A005RR4E01

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Connect the 400 A probe of an ammeter to positive wire harness side of the cooling fan motor.

    3. Check that the motor turns smoothly when the battery is connected to the fan motor connector.

    4. Measure the current while the motor is turning.

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      2 (+) - Probe 20°C (68°F) 5.7 to 7.7 A
