INITIALIZATION
Note
Perform initialization (throttle position) after replacing the throttle body assembly or cleaning any throttle body components Click here.
Perform initialization (throttle position) after reconnecting the battery cable or replacing the ECM Click here.
Perform Reset Memory (A/T initialization) when replacing the automatic transaxle assembly, engine assembly or ECM Click here.
If the ECM is replaced, register the ECM communication ID for the immobiliser system (refer to the Service Bulletin for Registration).
Tech Tips
Initialization cannot be completed only by disconnecting and reconnecting the cable to and from the negative (-) battery terminal.
