PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      Engage the claw.

    2. B00757G

      Engage the clip as shown in the illustration.

    3. B0073F9

      Install the front bumper side retainer LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

      Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      29 N*m  { 296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

      Engage the 2 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

  8. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING (for Sport Package)

      Engage the 8 claws to install the lower radiator grille moulding.

  9. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Standard)

      Engage the 8 claws to install the lower radiator grille sub-assembly to the radiator grille.

  10. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sport Package)


    1. A01VSEI

      Engage the 3 claws.

    2. A01VSM4

      Install the lower radiator grille sub-assembly to the radiator grille with the 3 screws.

  11. INSTALL NO. 3 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL


    1. Clean the radiator grille moulding.


      1. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the radiator grille moulding.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new No. 3 radiator grille seal.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Install the No. 3 radiator grille seal.

  12. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 3 radiator grille seal.

  13. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING (for Standard)

      Engage the 12 claws and 2 guides to install the radiator grille moulding.

  14. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING (for Sport Package)

      Engage the 12 claws and 2 guides to install the radiator grille moulding.

  15. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY (for Standard)


    1. Engage the 9 guides and 8 claws.

      Install the radiator grille assembly with the 6 screws.

  16. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY (for Sport Package)


    1. Engage the 9 guides and 8 claws.

      Install the radiator grille assembly with the 6 screws.

  17. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH (w/o Fog Light)

      Engage the guide and 2 claws.

      Install the No. 2 radiator grille garnish with the 3 screws.

  18. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH (w/o Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 radiator grille garnish.

  19. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

      Engage the guide and 2 claws.

      Install the fog light cover LH with the 2 screws.

  20. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD PROTECTOR TAPE

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.


    1. Clean the front bumper lower side support LH.


      1. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the front bumper lower side support LH.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Remove the release paper from 2 new front bumper guard protector tapes.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Install the 2 front bumper guard protector tapes as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Install the front bumper guard protector tape along the line marked on the front bumper lower side support LH.

  22. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER LOWER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. Remove the release paper from 2 new front bumper guard protector tapes.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Engage the 2 guides to install the front bumper lower side support LH.

  23. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER LOWER SIDE SUPPORT RH

  24. INSTALL SYMBOL EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

      Engage the claw.

      Install the symbol emblem with the 2 screws.

  25. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the symbol emblem.

  26. INSTALL FRONT ENERGY ABSORBER MOUNTING PLATE


    1. Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the front energy absorber mounting plate with the 6 screws.

  27. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL (for Standard)

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the No. 1 radiator grille seal with the 2 screws.

  28. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET


    1. for Standard:


      1. A01VRT6

        Engage the pin.

    2. A01VRS7

      Install the lower radiator grille bracket with the clip.

  29. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER BRACKET LH


    1. B007735

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the front bumper bracket LH with the clip.

  30. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  31. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR


    1. Clean the front bumper cover.


      1. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new radiator grille protector.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

  32. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (for Standard)

  33. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (for Sport Package)

  36. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Engage the 2 claws to install the 2 front fender liner retainers.

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  37. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH

      Engage the 4 claws to install the fog light mounting bracket LH.

  38. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  39. INSTALL AIR INTAKE DUCT LH

      Install the air intake duct LH with the pin hold clip as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Insert the pin hold clip with the slot aligned vertically. Do not rotate the clip after inserting it. After installation, confirm that the slot is aligned vertically.

      1. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new washer hose clip.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.
