  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

      Component without harness connected

      (Headlight Dimmer Switch Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      23 (H) - 19 (EL) 10 kΩ or higher
      24 (A) - 19 (EL) 10 kΩ or higher

      22 (T) - 19 (EL) Light control switch in head position Below 1 Ω
      23 (H) - 19 (EL) Below 1 Ω
      24 (A) - 19 (EL) Light control switch in AUTO position Below 1 Ω
      Dimmer Switch

      17 (CR) - 16 (E) Turn signal switch in full right turn position Below 1 Ω
      14 (TL) - 16 (E) Turn signal switch in left turn position Below 1 Ω
      17 (CR) - 16 (E) Turn signal switch in full left turn position Below 1 Ω
      Fog Light Switch
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      11 (BFG) - 10 (LFG)*1 Fog light switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      11 (BFG) - 10 (LFG)*1 Fog light switch in front position Below 1 Ω
      9 (B) - 10 (LFG)*2 Fog light switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      9 (B) - 10 (LFG)*2 Fog light switch in rear position Below 1 Ω

      • *1: w/ Front Fog Light

      • *2: w/ Rear Fog Light

      • *3: w/ Light Control Switch Off Position

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight dimmer switch assembly.
