DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a communication malfunction occurs between the headlight control ECU sub-assembly LH and headlight control ECU sub-assembly RH. The headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B2443.

If the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH.

  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs
      Result

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Check for DTCs.

      DTC B2443 is not output.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH - HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH)


    1. Disconnect the A36 Headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the A7 Headlight light control ECU sub-assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A36-20 (LINL) - A7-20 (LINL) Always Below 1 Ω
      A36-20 (LINL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  4. REPLACE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Replace the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly RH with a new or known good one.
