DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH which is not compatible with the vehicle has been installed. The headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B2456.

  • Confirm that there are no CAN communication system malfunctions before performing the following inspection.

  • If the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH.

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs.


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Trouble Codes.

    5. Check for DTCs.


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Trouble Codes
      OK
      DTC B2456 is not output.

    1. Check if the part number of the ECM installed to the vehicle is correct.
