  1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      *A for Wiper Switch RH Side Type
      *B for Wiper Switch LH Side Type
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Windshield Wiper Switch Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O24-7 (WF) - O24-4 (EW) Front washer switch on Below 1 Ω
      Front washer switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O24-4 (WF) - O24-7 (EW) Front washer switch on Below 1 Ω
      Front washer switch off 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper switch assembly.
