ROOF HEADLINING INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY


    1. Install a new grommet to the vehicle body.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side

      *a Clip (Black)
      *b Clip (White)

      Install the 2 clips to the roof headlining assembly.

    3. Put the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the front passenger door as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.

    4. for Roof Side (w/o Sliding Roof):


      1. Engage the 3 guides.

      2. Engage the 6 claws and 2 clips to install the roof headlining assembly.

      3. Install the 2 screws to the 2 coat hooks.

    5. for Roof Side (w/ Sliding Roof):


      1. Engage the 2 guides.

        *a Guide *b Fastener

      2. Engage the 6 claws, 2 clips and 8 fasteners to install the roof headlining assembly.

      3. Install the 2 screws to the 2 coat hooks.

      4. Connect the connector to the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

    6. for Front Pillar LH Side:


      1. Connect the 2 connectors.

      2. Engage the 3 clamps.

    7. for Windshield Glass Side:


      1. Connect each connector.

  2. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER (for LH Side)

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the visor holder as shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the visor assembly LH with the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER (for LH Side)

      Engage the 4 claws to install the visor bracket cover.

  5. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

      Install the clip to the assist grip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. Temporarily install a new assist grip cover to the assist grip as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Engage the 2 clips to install the assist grip sub-assembly.

      Engage the 2 claws to install the assist grip cover.

      Note

      Make sure that 2 clips are engaged securely.

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  6. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

  17. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  18. INSTALL ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the 3 claws and 2 clips to install the roof side rail garnish assembly LH.

  19. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Engage the guide.

    2. Engage the claw and 4 clips to install the inner roof side garnish assembly LH.

  20. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Pass the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH through the center pillar garnish assembly LH.

    2. Engage the 2 guides and 4 claws to connect the belt guide of the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

    3. Engage the 3 claws and clip.

    4. Install the center pillar garnish assembly LH with the 2 screws.

  21. INSTALL FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Engage the clamp.

    3. Engage the 7 claws, 7 clips and guide to install the front quarter trim panel assembly LH.

    4. Install the 2 clips.

    5. Connect the belt guide of the rear seat 3 point type outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  22. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

  23. CONNECT REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  25. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for LH Side)

  33. INSTALL LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for RH Side)

    1. Remove the protective cover.

    2. Make sure that the 2 front pillar garnish clips are not damaged.

      Note

      If a front pillar garnish clip is damaged, replace the front pillar garnish clip with a new one.

      Engage the 2 front pillar garnish clips to the front pillar garnish LH.

      Tech Tips

      Engage the 2 front pillar garnish clips so that it is oriented as shown in the illustration.

      Push the front pillar garnish LH as shown in the illustration to engage the 3 guides.

      Engage the 2 front pillar garnish clips to install the front pillar garnish LH.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure that the curtain shield airbag assembly LH is not pinched.

  37. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH


    1. B0076BBN01

      Engage the guide (B) and claw (B).

    2. Engage the 3 claws (A) and guide (A) to install the front door opening trim cover LH.

  38. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    1. Engage the 5 guides and 12 claws to install the front door scuff plate LH.

  39. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  40. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  41. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
