PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY (COMPRESSOR SOLENOID)


    1. B0073G4C15
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Cooler Compressor Assembly (Compressor Solenoid))

      Disconnect the F55 cooler compressor assembly (compressor solenoid) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (SOL-) - 2 (SOL+) 25°C (77°F) 10.1 to 11.1 Ω

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY (COMPRESSOR SOLENOID) - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      F55-1 (SOL-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY (COMPRESSOR SOLENOID) - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the O9 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F55-2 (SOL+) - O9-4 (SOL+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F55-2 (SOL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
