LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

  • Use the same procedure for the RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The following procedure is for the LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HOOK

  2. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY


    1. B0076TA

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the lumbar support adjuster assembly to the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

    3. B007779

      Engage the clamp.

    4. Connect the connector to the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

      Install the clamp.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER LH


    1. Temporarily install the front seatback pad with cover LH.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the front seatback pad with cover.

      *a Bracket

      Engage the 2 brackets and install the front seatback pad with cover LH with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • For vehicles with a front seat airbag assembly, the front seatback pad with cover LH must be securely installed. Otherwise, the front seat airbag assembly may not deploy properly.

      • Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the nut.

      • Install the brackets securely.

    3. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Engage the 2 claws to install the seatback climate control blower to the front seatback pad with cover LH.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

  10. INSTALL INNER NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
